놀라운 주님의 은총!

너무나 달콤한 주님의 음성

That saved a wretch like me

한때 길을 잃고 방황했으나

  지금은 나의 길을 찾았어요

Was blind, but now I see

난 눈이 멀었었지만 지금은 볼 수 있지요

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,

주님의 은총은 내 가슴의 두려움을 알려 주셨어요

And grace my fears relieved;

은총으로 나의 두려움을 거두어 주셨습니다

How precious did that grace appear

내 앞에 나타난 은총이 얼마나 값진 것인지요

The hour I first believed

그 시간 난 처음으로 믿음을 가졌습니다

Through many dangers, toils and snares,

많은 위험과 고생과 유혹들을

We have already come

난 이미 겪었고

'Twas grace that brought the safe us far,

이 은총이 지금까지 나를 안전하게 보호해주십니다

And grace will lead us home

또 은총은 우리를 안식처로 인도해 주시구요

   만년동안 그 속에 있어도
